I am a procurement manager at an educational institution.  We are planning to engage an Job Order Contracting (JOC) service provider. We do not have prior experience setting up a JOC program.  In this regard, we would appreciate your feedback on the questions below.

  1. Have you used a Job Order Contracting (JOC) service provider? What were the key drivers?
  2. What points/considerations must be included in RFPs/RFIs  from JOC service providers? Do you have a sample RFP that you could share (anonymously) with us?
  3. Which JOC service providers did you use? How would you rate the experience? Would you hire them again?
  4. Do you have any advice regarding pitfalls that we must navigate carefully in setting-up a JOC program?
