I am a category manager for a financial services company. We are trying to benchmark the percent mark-up that a printing and mailing services provider should charge us for buying paper and envelopes on our behalf.

1) Does your printing and mailing service provider buy paper and envelopes on your behalf?
2) If not, why not?
3) If so, approximately what percent mark-up are you charged for what volume of paper and envelopes purchased?
